Is Beyonce’s Life Really All Glamour ?
Is Beyonce’s life really all glamour as assumed? First lets examine the product from its origin. Every success story has a beginning. Some are small and ordinary. Great meals are prepared before consumption. Beyonce had a beginning before she became Jayzee’s bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh or had us singing “All My Single Ladies.” She has to continue the polishing, fine tuning, character building and skill enhancements to stay on top. If great isn’t becoming greater then we have to question how great that greatness is becoming. Greatness requires pain, suffering and long processes in order to achieve levels meant to come from it.
However, looking at the base product, we see the potential to reach the stars or rest in sinking sand. There’s emotional and hormonal peaks and valley’s. There’s bad hair days, crooked business clients, performance preparation and hands looking for compensation for their role in the success. The body goes through physical exhaustion from all it has to do. That’s the product and has little to do with glamour. Glamour is things she can possess, places she can go, people she rubs shoulders with and what she can do that ordinary people cannot.
It is almost a given that there are days she’d rather be fishing instead of rushing from one engagement to another and being screamed at by crowds of people. There are days she probably doesn’t wish to talk to people in her family as close as her parents. There may be days she’d rather be at home sitting in coziness with the love of her life shutting out the world.
Everyone has skeletons to deal with mentally. After mentally dealing with them the person brushes it off and gets back to business. Otherwise, the enemy of our souls uses the occasion to keep us down and unproductive. However, on a more real tip, skeletons known by family members can be most venemous. Michael Vick can testify of that reality. If Beyonce and the rest of us keep the skeletons motionless and in their place by being the best of the best then all will remain well with our souls and glamour can too become our friend.
